#16 - Chris Wainer


Chris started playing lacrosse at twelve years old and began his journey in the sport at Poynton Lacrosse Club before moving to Sheffield for university. During his time in the Steel City, Chris played for Sheffield Steelers, captaining the first team for a number of seasons. Since moving back to his hometown of Manchester, Chris now plays for Heaton Mersey LC.

During his time in the sport he has uniquely represented Cheshire, Yorkshire, and Lancashire. He has also been a part of numerous England field training squads, touring the US and Europe. Chris was recently introduced to Box Lacrosse and has participated in EBox and the Ales Hrebesky Memorial tournaments for London Knights.
