The 2021 School Challenge Cup 2021 taking place on Sunday 14 November.

The eight-team tournament, that was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, is being held at its regular home of Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre, Aldershot.

The School Challenge cup features the country’s best young talent, pitting the top eight schools at U19 level against each other in a straight knockout tournament.

This will be the cup’s first hosting since 2019 and Guildford High School come into the competition as the reigning champions after defeating the 2018 winners Berkhamsted 10-5 in the final.

Both teams will be at the tournament once again alongside Benenden, Caterham, Downe House, St Catherine’s, St Mary’s Calne, and Wycombe Abbey.

Fixtures get underway from 10.30am with the quarter-finals, before the final takes place scheduled for 4pm.

Usually, teams would qualify for the School Challenge Cup by finishing in the top eight places at the National Schools Lacrosse Championships.

However, in a change from tradition due to the pandemic, the eight teams taking part in the School Challenge Cup 2021 have qualified based on their previous four National Schools Lacrosse Championships’ performances.

From these performances, points were assigned to each school depending on where they finished in each tournament.

Quarter-final fixtures
10.30 - Berkhamsted - Wycombe Abbey
10.30 - Caterham - Downe House
11.20 - Guildford High - St Catherine’s
11.20 - Benenden - St Mary’s Calne
