England Lacrosse is pleased to announce a junior girls summer camp programme taking place throughout the July & August School holidays.

England Lacrosse has been working since the prevalence of the coronavirus outbreak to plan a summer camp programme which can be delivered with the Government COVID-19 restrictions.

With social distancing restrictions in place, there are restrictions on the Lacrosse activities that are permitted and due to this we were unable to run our usual Triple Arrow camp programme.

We have decided that in order to maintain a fun and engaging curriculum, camps will run on a 2-day programme schedule for girls aged 10-17 across the below dates and venues.

Due to the implementation of the necessary COVID-19 guidelines, camper numbers on the camp are limited and early booking is recommended to secure a place.

Camp Details:

The camps will be operating a ‘pod’ system with campers being allocated a ‘pod’ based on age, ability and friendship requests. Campers will remain in these ‘pods’ in their allocated pitch space for the two days and will be overseen by a coach.

Each camp will run from 10:00-16:00 with a drop off and collection from 9:30-10:00 and 16:00-16:30. In order to reduce interaction with individuals outside of the camper’s ‘pod’ we will be distributing guidance on arrival and departures specific to each camp once individuals have been allocated to a ‘pod’.

Each venue has access to toilet facilities which will be cleaned regularly throughout each day. We have also secured an indoor space for lunch times if the weather does not permit for this to happen outside.

All coaches will have valid first aid and safeguarding training as well as a valid background check. All coaches will be required to attend an online webinar with England Lacrosse prior to the camps which will outline the policies and protocols for the camps to ensure a safe and fun experience for all.

Camps will run from 9:30am - 4.30pm daily, at £90 per camper. If you have any further questions, please contact Kerrie Lawler at [email protected]

Note: England Lacrosse has been working with a number of Government departments in order to ensure the safe delivery of these camps and have been identified to meet the criteria set by the Department of Education to provide out of school summer provisions for under 18s. This means the camps will run in line with the Department for Education guidelines.
