GB Lacrosse is seeking to appoint two Head Coaches with a record of success to lead the GB Men’s and GB Women’s Lacrosse teams.

Initially, the focus will be on selecting and coaching a team to take part in a World Games test event at the beginning of 2020 in Alabama, USA, followed by training and team selection in preparation for participation in the 2021 World Games.

Lacrosse first appeared at the World Games in 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland with a women’s competition in which Team GB finished 4th.

The World Games will be played using the six-a-side proposed olympic rules formulated in 2018, and have been trialled at both the Men’s Winter Classic and Women’s Super League competitions.

Therefore, applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of coaching a variety of lacrosse formats, proven ability to adapt to new challenges as a coach, and possess the ability to create a winning team from players from three different countries.
