UNIVERSITY LACROSSE OFFICER PROGRAMME

WHAT IS THE ULO PROGRAMME?

The purpose of the ULO Programme is to:

  • Further support and develop the lacrosse population at university.

  • Link with local clubs and residents near the university and connect graduates with local lacrosse clubs and employment opportunities.

  • Support players’ transition from education to employment, so individuals continue to be part of the lacrosse community.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

By completing certain tasks throughout the season and in recognition of your participation in the Programme, you’ll receive a £100 recognition reward along with an exclusive England Lacrosse ULO gilet*.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

If the ULO is something you’d like to be involved in, simply send an email over to [email protected] detailing your name and university and we’ll be in touch!

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

    • Attend one day of an England Lacrosse event as part of the event workforce and act as the named ULO representative for your university. You will receive your exclusive England Lacrosse ULO gilet at this event.

    • Possible events to attend in 2026 are:

      1. National Schools Lacrosse Championships | Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre | 7-10 March

      2. The Fly Sixes Lacrosse League | 16-17 May (north) & 30-31 May (south)

    • Attend webinar session with our Programme’s headline sponsor and international law firm RPC.

    • Identify two students from your university who are interested in learning more about a career in commercial and corporate law to also attend webinar with you.

    • Throughout the year, England Lacrosse publish eight surveys aimed at university students which let us know how we’re doing and how we can improve.

    • Complete each survey yourself and share with members of your university club.

    • Create a short, high-energy “Welcome to [university name] lacrosse” promotional reel on Instagram.

    • Introduce yourself on your university team’s Instagram page; this can be an image or a video.

    • Both pieces of content can be used as part of your university’s recruitment drive and by England Lacrosse to promote the ULO Programme.

*the rewards are discretionary and dependent upon a ULO’s involvement and engagement throughout the Programme.
