There are a number of different formats of lacrosse played in England, all with their own set of rules and regulations. You can find the most up-to-date rules on each of the formats below.

Women's Field
Played throughout schools, universities, clubs, regions, and at national level, women’s lacrosse continues to grow here in the UK.

Men's Field
England boasts many talented men’s field players, and offers a fantastic opportunity for young players to rise from club to national level.

Sixes Lacrosse
The 2028 Olympic version of lacrosse, Sixes has made the fastest game on two feet even faster. It’s quick, it’s feisty, and it’s an exciting format.

Indoor (Box) Lacrosse
Indoor (known as Box) lacrosse is played in an arena much like that of ice hockey. The game is fast and requires huge skill and power from its players.

Mixed Lacrosse
Adapted from the women’s rules game, mixed lacrosse is a format that can be played by any gender and is the most social and inclusive version.

POP Lacrosse
POP Lacrosse is the a non-contact version of lacrosse played in primary schools. It uses inexpensive plastic-headed sticks and large, softer balls.
