STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

WHAT IS THE STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME?

Our Student Ambassador Programme is designed to:

  • Increase lacrosse participation

  • Develop students leaders

  • Strengthen university-club pathways

  • Create future coaches, officials, and volunteers

  • Improve graduate retention in lacrosse

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME AND MY TEAM?

By joining the Student Ambassador Programme, ambassadors and their university clubs will receive:

  • A Student Ambassador t-shirt & water bottle for the appointed Ambassador

  • £200 funding pot to support equipment purchases, events, and initiatives that increase lacrosse participation

  • A funded England Lacrosse tier one course for either the Ambassador or a club member

  • Free England Lacrosse membership for the Ambassador

  • Travel & accommodation support for the Ambassador to attend the Programme’s induction day and designated England Lacrosse events

  • Access to a series of development webinars for Ambassadors and university club members covering topics such as recruitment, officiating, leadership, event management, club development, and graduate lacrosse opportunities

  • On-going support and guidance from England Lacrosse staff throughout the duration of the Programme

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

If the England Lacrosse Student Ambassador Programme sounds like it’s up your street, please complete the two applications forms below.

The first one should be completed by yourself (the person looking to be the Student Ambassador), while the second should be completed by someone at your university such as a member of the Students' Union, a teamcoach, or a representative from the university sports department.

Once both forms have been submitted, we will review the application and be in touch via email to let applicants know whether they have been successful.
