England ready and raring to begin U19 Worlds campaign

England begin their Under 19 World Championship campaign later this evening (1am UK) against hosts and reigning champions, Canada.

The match is the headline game on Day 2 at the World Championships at Trent University and should attract a bumper crowd to kick-off both sides’ tournament.

The Championship sees England seeded into the ‘blue division’ Pool A along with Canada, USA and Australia, before entering a ‘Last 16’ knockout stage in the quest for a medal.

After this evening’s encounter, the girls will then play USA tomorrow (1am) and Australia on 4 August (7pm).
