Nominations open for 2026/2027 Boys North Aspire Programme

Player nominations are now open for the England Lacrosse Boys North Aspire Programme’s 2026/2027 season with clubs and schools in the region able to put forward talented young players throughout the season.

With the opening session taking place in October at a soon to be announced venue in the north of England, the Aspire North Programme is looking to hear from clubs and schools who have junior players with the potential to enter the England Lacrosse pathway and possibly progress to the England national team later in their careers.

And for the 2026/2027 season, England Lacrosse has lowered the minimum nomination age by one year so that players from under-12 level or school year seven can be nominated.

The Aspire athlete development programme helps young players to build their ability and resilience and hone their technique through top-class holistic training and support covering tactics, technique, strength, conditioning, physiotherapy, nutrition, and more.

Sessions are roughly held once a month during the season and to be able to take part in the first session of the season, player nominations must be submitted by 23:59 on Sunday 28 September, although nominations remain open throughout the season and players can join the Programme at any point.
