Ron Balls funeral details

The funeral of former European Lacrosse President, England Lacrosse Board member, and secretary general of World Lacrosse Ron Balls will take place at 12pm on Thursday 20 November at Basildon and District Crematorium.

There is no dress code and the funeral will be live-streamed HERE for those who are unable to attend in person (username: heje5427, password/PIN: 182640).

Following Ron’s farewell, attendants are invited to The Cork Dork, Rayleigh from 1pm for cheese, wine, and sharing fond memories of time with Ron.

Ron’s wife and daughters have said it would mean a lot to them if people who knew Ron could attend and help them celebrate his life, share memories, and say goodbye together.

Ron’s family will be accepting flowers on the day and alternatively donations in memory of Ron can be made to Southend Hospital’s The Dandelion End of Life Appeal HERE.

The European Lacrosse Federation (ELF) is also in the process of putting together a tribute for Ron and is asking for members of the lacrosse community to share their stories and memories of their late President HERE. The ELF will collate all the responses and turn them into a physical book which will be sent to Ron’s family.
