Surrey Lacrosse hits the target at Freshers’ Fair

The University of Surrey Lacrosse Club brought a competitive twist to its Freshers’ Fair, inviting students to pick up a stick and test their shooting skills for the chance to win a hamper of sweets.

The outdoor challenge featured a target inside a lacrosse goal, with different sections worth different points. The student with the highest score took home the prize—a sweet reward for being on target!

Student Ambassador Lois Taylor shared how the activity helped introduce students to lacrosse, encouraged them to visit the stall and sparked conversations with club members. It was a fun, hands-on way to give prospective players a taste of the sport.

Alongside photos and videos from the fair, Lois shared memories from last season, including Women’s team photos and highlights from the club’s BUCS South Eastern Conference Final. We look forward to seeing what the new season brings for Surrey!
