Canterbury Christ Church University: A Fantastic Start to the Year

Canterbury Christ Church University Lacrosse Club has enjoyed an excellent start to the new academic year, welcoming a fantastic number of new players through Freshers’ Fayre, taster sessions and social events.

The club has seen strong attendance across all activities, with students from a variety of sporting backgrounds, including hockey and netball, getting involved and giving lacrosse a try. The enthusiasm shown by both new and returning members has created a brilliant atmosphere, setting the club up for an exciting season ahead.

With regular training sessions now underway, the team is already looking forward to the upcoming BUCS campaign and building on this early momentum throughout the year.

The club has also been supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by sharing messages on social media and coming together in pink for their first training session of October. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness, show support for an important cause, and strengthen team spirit at the same time.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings for Canterbury Christ Church University Lacrosse Club!
