The Senior Flags final features a fourth consecutive meeting between Poynton and Cheadle, with Poynton having won all the previous three, after winning their first ever Senior Flags in 2016.

Cheadle won the NEMLA Premier 1 convincingly, only losing one game all season, however that 7-3 loss did come against Poynton in Cheadle’s final league game of the year.

Cheadle’s A side, both Wilmslow sides and Mellor are also all going for the league and flags double after winning all their respective leagues.
