England Lacrosse is pleased to announce the England Women’s World Cup training squad selected for the forthcoming 2020/21 season.

Following two September trial weekends, a 31-player training squad has been announced as the team begin their final year’s preparation before the 2021 Women’s World Championship in July.

The national squad will continue to operate under England Lacrosse Phase 4 Return to Play guidelines, with four members of the squad US-based for the majority of the season, working as coaches at American universities.

Over the next year, the squad will meet for monthly training weekends in addition to practice fixtures and tours, such as the Home Internationals Series (COVID dependent), vying for a place on the final 18-player World Cup team.

After a memorable bronze medal in 2017, Head Coach, Phil Collier, and his coaching staff will have eyes on putting together a side capable of repeating success at the 2021 Championship in Towson, MD, USA.
