At the end of 2025, the European Box Lacrosse Championships 2026 officially revealed the three venues in Prague, Czechia that will play host to the men’s and women’s competitions from 25 June - 4 July later this year.
LCC Radotín, Sport Hall Jižní Město, and the TJ Malešice Lacrosse Arena will host matches involving the 19 men’s and eight women’s teams over the 10-days of competition.
In the south-west of Prague, LCC Radotín’s legendary outdoor arena has a capacity of over 2,000 and is a regular host of high level box lacrosse competition including the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial, the E-Box & ShE-Box invitational events, and the Frank Menschner Cup.
The LCC Radotín outdoor arena is also home to LC Custodes who have held the National Box Lacrosse League title for twenty consecutive years.
Across the city in the south-east of Prague, the Sport Hall Jižní Město is a modern indoor arena that can hold up to 800 spectators.
Since its opening in 2010, lacrosse, floorball, basketball, gymnastics, futsal, table tennis, and volleyball have all been played in this venue.
The Sport Hall Jižní Město is home to the floorball club Florbal Chodov as well as SK Lakros Jižní Město.
The final and smallest venue hosting matches during the European Box Lacrosse Championships 2026 is the TJ Malešice Lacrosse Arena in the north-east of the city.
With a capacity of 300 spectators, the outdoor arena is currently under-going renovations ahead of the Euros and is home to TJ Malešice founded in 1986.
As with the World Lacrosse Box Championships in 2024, the 2026 Euros will be a joint competition taking in the third edition of the men’s tournament as well as the inaugural women’s event.
England teams will feature in both tournaments with the men looking to retain the trophy they won in 2022 and the women hoping to build on their fifth place finish at the 2024 World Championship.
Earlier this week, Women’s Head Coach Conor Dockery named his 48-player training squad that will be whittled down to an eventual tournament squad over the coming months.
