Conor Dockery and his coaching team havedcf announced their 35-player England women’s box lacrosse squad ahead of the 2026 ShE-Box Invitational event in April.

Taking place from 17-19 April at LCC Radotin in Prague, Czechia, the 2026 ShE-Box event will be just the second time an official England women’s squad has taken part after making their debut in the 2024 edition in preparation for that year’s inaugural World Championship.

The 2026 ShE-Box squad contains 17 of the 23 players who helped England to a fifth place finish at the 2024 World Championship in Utica, USA including captain Annabelle Akintoye and assistant captains Laura Beaman and Lucy Ford.

England will take on three teams they defeated in the World Championship in Hong Kong, Germany, and the Netherlands, with an additional game against Tokyo on the final day of the event.

ShE-Box will mark one of the last opportunities for players to impress the coaching team with the final 2026 Euros roster being announced in May.

Having finished as the highest placed European team at the inaugural World Championship, England will head into the 2026 Euros as one of the favourites and they’ll be determined to write their name in history.
