Applications open to play in SEMLA's 2025/26 Winter Box League

Applications to play in the South of England Men’s Lacrosse Association (SEMLA) 2025/26 Winter Box League are now open with athletes able to apply until 9pm on Wednesday 26 November.

Taking place across four game days in December and January at the Oxford Academy 3G Dome, SEMLA’s Winter Box League is gearing up for its fifth year after its first season in 2021/22.

Since then, the competition has grown exponentially and now includes four men’s teams and a women’s tournament featuring the best box lacrosse players in England.

The Winter Box League has also been a successful breeding ground for up and coming talent with many stars of the England women’s squad that travelled to Utica, USA, to compete at the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships having taken their first steps in the format at the competition.

As in previous years, all four 2025/26 game days will be live streamed by Lacrosse Live UK and available to watch on YouTube.

Season passes for players cost £90, the same overall cost as last year, and will be payable before the first game day by drafted players (there is no initial fee to apply to play in the Winter Box League).

Please note, there will be a limited amount of box equipment for drafted players to use if they haven’t got their own.
