BH Lacrosse search for new lacrosse coaches

BH Lacrosse are looking for new part-time lacrosse coaches to join their team ahead of the 2026/27 season, with applications open now.

The organisation, founded and ran by dedicated member of the lacrosse community Ben Howells, delivers a lacrosse curriculum in schools predominantly in the Greater Manchester area.

And now they’re looking for enthusiastic players and coaches to join their coaching team with positions ideal for those taking a gap year, recently graduated, or those who simply love lacrosse, enjoy coaching and inspiring young people.

Applicants don’t need to be experienced coaches; all BH Lacrosse ask is that indivduals know the game, communicate well with young people, and have the enthusiasm to get them excited about lacrosse - they can help you develop as a coach.

What BH Lacrosse offer:

  • £22 per hour

  • All coaching equipment provided

  • Opportunity to gain valuable coaching & school-based experience

  • Develop your coaching, leadership, & communication skills

  • Work with children and young people, introducing them to lacrosse

  • Part-time work that can fit around other commitments

What BH Lacrosse wants from you:

  • Lacrosse playing knowledge & enthusiasm for the sport

  • A positive, energetic, & reliable attitude

  • Level 2 Coaching Award or willingness to complete it

  • Enhanced DBS – cost reimbursed after 12 weeks of coaching

  • Full driving licence and access to a car
