Boxmania issues save the date ahead of 2026 competition

Boxmania has issued save the dates for its 2026 men’s and women’s competitions set to take place in Lille, France on 31 October & 1 November and 28 & 29 November respectively.

This year will mark the 17th edition of the men’s competition that started back in 2009 and the second women’s edition after a successful inaugural last year.

Scotland’s Team Edin-Bru secured the first ever women’s title in 2025 with a team featuring England’s Rosie Bathurst, Leah Catton, Lexi Reynard, and Georgie Rutter.

On the men’s side, it was the Belgium Axemen who lifted the 2025 title after overcoming teams from France, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, and England (SBL Capitals who finished third).

Team places are strictly limited with a maximum of 10 open in the men’s tournament and eight in the women’s with entry fees still to be confirmed but usually around 45€.

More information about the competitions is expected before the summer but it is recommended that teams contact Boxmania on Facebook, Instagram, or via email at [email protected] as soon as possible if they are interested in taking part as places fill up fast.

For teams travelling from outside of France, the Boxmania team will assist with booking accommodation at the best prices and in 2026 the organisers hope to broadcast every game live online for the very first time.
