British Lacrosse is seeking to appoint a number of voluntary roles for their Men’s and Women’s Olympic Sixes Teams through to the end of the 2028 Olympic cycle.
British Lacrosse (BL) is responsible for Olympic Sixes lacrosse in Great Britain. They represent and support elite performance across the men’s and women’s national teams, and lead the sport’s ambitions towards Olympic success. With lacrosse now confirmed for LA28, British Lacrosse is focused on building world-class programmes capable of delivering success on the international stage.
This is an exciting moment for lacrosse in Britain and an opportunity for coaches with exceptional experience to shape both the men's and women's Olympic Sixes teams on their journey to the LA28 Olympic Games. These roles will be pivotal in realising BL’s medal winning targets over the coming years, including European & World Championships, and the LA28 Olympic Games.
Coaching Positions
British Lacrosse is looking to appoint a number of new coaching positions for the Men's & Women's Olympic Sixes Teams through to the end of the 2028 Olympic cycle.
Reporting to the Coaching Leadership Team (CLT) and the Performance Director, the successful candidates will support the technical, tactical, and cultural development of the team, and ensure sustained performance at major international competitions.
The roles require strong coaching skills, expertise in specific performance areas and athlete skills development, and a proven ability to coach both individuals independently and in a team environment.
The ideal candidates are individuals with world class coaching experience, proven track records of delivering in key performance areas, and clear visions for what it takes to build world class performances in said areas.
Contract: Variable and/or Fixed-term to December 2028 (dependent upon role)
Location: Hybrid / UK & International Travel
Remuneration: Volunteer based, with international competition expenses paid

Operations Manager
British Lacrosse is seeking to appoint two new Operations Managers, one for each of the Men's & Women's Olympic Sixes Teams through to the end of the 2028 Olympic cycle.
Reporting to the Performance Director and working closely with the wider coaching and multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidates will support the operational delivery of domestic training and international competition activity, from planning, through to execution and optimisation.
These vital roles, with collaboration as a guiding principle, would see the oversight, development and execution of a world class operational infrastructure, and the management of organisational, administrative, and logistical aspects of the programme, as BL continue to develop world class performance environments to support their athletes on the road to LA28.
The role requires strong organisational and interpersonal skills, expertise in competition planning, and a proven ability to work directly with athletes, coaching and support teams, and the wider stakeholder network.
Contract: Fixed term to December 2028
Location: UK based with some International Travel
