England Lacrosse Travel Partner inspiresport enjoys afternoon of lacrosse

inspiresport, the youth tours division of England Lacrosse Official Travel Partner Destination Sport, enjoyed an afternoon of lacrosse at the Manchester Regional Arena as part of their annual staff residential last week.

The afternoon session, led by England Lacrosse Officiating Administrator & Greater Manchester Development Officer and experienced coach Brin Kenyon, saw over 40 inspiresport staff learn the basics of lacrosse, including passing, catching, scooping, and shooting.

Ending with some short-sided matches played to POP Lacrosse rules, the session was an opportunity for the team at inspiresport to get a unique insight into lacrosse, learning how to play the game and a little bit about the history of the sport in the process.

“It was brilliant to get the inspiresport team together with England Lacrosse at the Etihad Campus for a really fun and energetic session.

“We learnt the basics, got stuck into some small-sided matches and, unsurprisingly, the competitive side of the team quickly came out!

“It was a great way to bring everyone together, build team spirit and get to know our partners at England Lacrosse. A fantastic experience all round and a memorable way to round off the week together.”
