British Lacrosse has announced its Men’s Performance Programme Squad that includes 14 Podium Athletes, 12 Potential Podium Athletes, 11 Development Athletes, and 10 Overseas-based Athletes.

The full squad features nine of the 12 players who represented Great Britain at The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama in 2022 and has been put together ahead of another huge year for international lacrosse in the build up to the LA28 Olympic Games.

2026 will see the first stage of European qualifying for the 2028 Olympics take place in Salou, Spain in November with a European Sixes Lacrosse Championships acting as a continental qualifier for the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championships.

Pending International Olympic Committee (IOC) approval, the 2027 Sixes Championships will showcase the top 16 men’s and women’s teams in the world and will serve as the primary qualifier for LA28.

The 47 players within the British Lacrosse Men’s Performance Programme will now work with the coaching team and Performance Lead Chris Russell over the next few months to ensure they’re in the best possible shape to compete at the European Sixes Lacrosse Championships in November.
