The Great Britain Men’s Lacrosse Team will take on Germany and the Netherlands in Manchester this weekend as they ramp up their preparations ahead of November’s 2026 European Sixes Lacrosse Championships in Salou, Spain.

Germany and the Netherlands, ranked 11th and 14th respectively in the field lacrosse format, head to England also looking to progress from the European Sixes Championships on their own LA28 Olympic journeys.

The three teams will take in a series of matches over the weekend as well as training sessions together with the GB squad being chosen from the wider 2026 Performance Programme.

GB men come into the weekend on the back of securing the 2026 EuroLax Sixes Cup early last month which they won after an 18-7 final win over a select Netherlands team.

The European Sixes Championships, which take place from 10-18 November for the Men’s teams, mark the first stage in the qualification process for the LA28 Olympic Games with the top 16 teams taking part in the World Lacrosse Sixes Championships in 2027.
