Individuals sought to join RAG working groups
The Referees' Advisory Group (RAG) is seeking to form two working groups to support the work around recruitment & retention and Workforce Development (coaching, assessing and mentoring). Both groups will meet online on a regular basis to develop suggested policy initiatives that the Referee Advisory Group can consider. The positions will be voluntary and reasonable & approved expenses will be reimbursed.
The recruitment & retention working group will focus on analysing data around attrition, look at the experiences of new and existing referees and pilot focused support in areas to measure impact so that we can ultimately increase the number of registered referees. Applications are sought from individuals who want to assist and who have experience of Lacrosse, either as a referee, player, coach or administrator.
The Workforce Development working group will focus on the processes and systems in place to support mentoring, coaching and assessing (Educators). In addition to developing robust competency-based appraisal systems the group will also focus on training, development and recruitment of the workforce. Applications are sought from individuals who have experience in an educator role, and we would also like to recruit someone to join the group who has specific IT skills and can help develop a system to collate and process information for data analysis purposes.
Any interested individuals should send a short covering letter outlining their experience and the working group(s) they would like to sit on to [email protected]
