2026 Borders Eights competition opens registration

Registration for the sixth edition of the Borders Eights competition is now open with just 12 places available in 2026.

The competition, which takes place on Saturday 12 September at Border City Lacrosse Club, Brampton, Carlisle, is open to men’s teams from all over the UK.

Although Borders Eights is a competitive tournament with an eventual winner, there is a big emphasis on the social side to the game and getting to know new people and catching up with others.

Teams can register for £175 and those participating will have the option to camp on Friday 11 free of charge with a bar and catering also on offer.

Any profits that are made will go straight back into the development of the game in the local area and the upkeep and improvement of the ground.
