Officiate at 2026 Northern Flags Festival

The Referees' Association is looking for officials to take charge of games during the Northern Flags Festival, taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April at Rochdale Lacrosse Club, Greater Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to officiate alongside experienced referees, receive constructive feedback, and benefit from mentoring to support your development and progression.

The Referees’ Association said:

“While we may not be able to appoint every official who expresses interest, we aim to involve as many referees as possible throughout the weekend.

“Additionally, officiating at the Northern Flags Festival comes with an added benefit: your match fee will be used to cover your membership of The Referees' Association for the 2026/27 season, granting you access to further training, CPD opportunities, and ongoing support to enhance your officiating journey.

“We look forward to hearing from you and hope you take advantage of this excellent opportunity.”

The Referees’ Association invites club referees who are interested in officiating at the event to submit an expression of interest along with their availability for the weekend to Dean Mohareb via email at [email protected]. 

The deadline for responses is 12pm on Monday 16 March 2026.
