Walt Christianson names 2026 Euros Training Squad
England Men’s Box Lacrosse Team Head Coach Walt Christianson has announced his Training Squad as he continues preparations towards the 2026 European Box Lacrosse Championships in Prague, Czechia in June.
The 45-strong squad features 16 players who were a part of the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships squad that finished fourth in Utica, USA and 12 players who lifted the Euros title for the first time in Hanover, Germany in 2022.
Captain and all-time caps holder Tom Roche is part of the squad after over-taking previous most capped player Eliot Pugh at the last World Championship, and will feature at an unprecedented sixth major tournament for England if he is selected for the final squad.
All-time top goal-scorer Lyndon Bunio, who has featured for England at the last three major tournaments, misses out on the squad through injury.
England’s next focus will be on putting together a team to compete at the annual E-Box Invitational in April.
Over the coming months, and ahead of the 2026 Men’s European Box Lacrosse Championship (25 June - 4 July), this larger Training Squad will be whittled down to an eventual championship squad of 23.
