New Youth Officials courses to train the next generation

England Lacrosse is pleased to announce two new Youth Officials courses both taking place in the North West on Wednesday 27 May aimed at developing the skills of our young people and training the next generation of officials.

Poynton Lacrosse Club will host the Youth Referees course while Stockport hosts the Youth Umpires course both running from 10am-3pm.

Open to individuals aged 14+ (school year 10 or above), Youth Officials courses aim to enable young individuals to be able to safely officiate youth games below their age group in conjunction with other qualified officials.

Once the individuals then turn 16, they will be awarded their Entry Level Officiating Qualification and will be able to officiate any games open to Entry Level officials.

Experienced officials Dean Mohareb and Paul Bibby will lead the respective Referee and Umpire courses with the course cost set at £65, £30 cheaper than a standard Entry Level officiating course.

Date and Time:
Youth Referee | Wednesday 27 May 2026 | 10am-3pm | Poynton Lacrosse Club

Youth Umpire | Wednesday 27 May 2026 | 10am-3pm | Stockport Lacrosse Club
