Southern Box Lacrosse (SBL) has opened applications to join the player draft for the inaugural Winter Box League taking place during December and January.
After the official launch of the League last week that also included the opening of applications for team managers and head coaches, the opening of applications for the player draft marks the next stage of getting the brand new League off the ground.
Any England Lacrosse registered member over the age of 16 (of any gender identity) may apply to be a part of the draft, unless they are serving a suspension from a regional association or England Lacrosse.
SBL is running an early bird price of £60 per application that will rise to £75 per application from 1 November and applications close at 23.59pm on Sunday 13 November.
Each League fixture will take place at the 3G Dome at Oxford Academy over four game days starting on Sunday 11 December and continuing on Sunday 18 December, Sunday 8 January, and Sunday 15 January.
All game days will run between 13.00pm and 17.00pm, featuring two full length games with each team playing one game per game day.
