England Lacrosse Partners with The PE Hub to Inspire the Next Generation
England Lacrosse is delighted to announce a new partnership with The PE Hub, creating more opportunities for primary schools across England to introduce pupils to one of the world's fastest-growing team sports.
The partnership, led by Brin Kenyon, brings together England Lacrosse's expertise in developing and growing the game with The PE Hub's trusted platform, which supports thousands of teachers in delivering high-quality physical education. By making it easier for schools to access resources, guidance and opportunities, the collaboration will help more young people experience the enjoyment and benefits of lacrosse.
A Partnership Built Around Schools
The collaboration provides teachers with a straightforward route to discover England Lacrosse's schools programme, including curriculum-friendly resources, lesson ideas, teacher development opportunities and information about equipment and coaching support.
At the heart of the offer is POP Lacrosse, England Lacrosse's non-contact version of the game, designed specifically for primary-aged children. Using lightweight sticks and soft balls, POP Lacrosse develops fundamental movement skills, teamwork and confidence in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
The partnership reflects a shared ambition to help schools broaden their PE provision with activities that are engaging, accessible and easy to deliver.
As England Lacrosse continues to grow participation at grass-roots level, partnerships such as this play an important role in reaching new audiences and supporting teachers with the confidence and resources they need to deliver the sport.
Supporting High-Quality Physical Education
Lacrosse offers children the opportunity to develop a wide range of physical, social and personal skills. Through catching, throwing, movement and teamwork, pupils build confidence while developing coordination, communication, decision-making and resilience.
The sport aligns closely with the National Curriculum for Physical Education and provides a fresh, inclusive option that encourages participation from pupils of all abilities. With lacrosse returning to the Olympic Games at Los Angeles 2028, there has never been a better time for schools to introduce pupils to the sport.
Looking Ahead
By working together, England Lacrosse and The PE Hub are making it easier than ever for schools to explore new ways of engaging children in physical activity and developing physical literacy.
England Lacrosse looks forward to working closely with The PE Hub to inspire more teachers, reach more schools and give more young people the opportunity to discover the excitement of lacrosse.
