Entry open for 2026 Bath Eights
Bath Lacrosse Club has opened the entry process for its 2026 Bath Eights competition with teams able to sign up initially until 1 June.
The 2026 competition, taking place on Saturday 5 September, will mark the 40th anniversary of the men’s tournament that started in 1986 and has been held every year since except in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Reigning men’s champions Reading Wildcats became the first team from the south of England to secure the title since 2019 when they beat XX in the final last year.
The women’s tournament will be celebrating its ninth edition where teams will be looking to snatch the trophy from Cheltenham Cougars who have claimed back-to-back titles since 2024.
Traditionally the domestic season opener, the Bath Eights competition is held at the home of Bath Lacrosse Club, Odd Down Sports Field just outside the city centre.
It’s one of the largest lacrosse events in the country and teams are able to sign up from £190 per team.
13 men’s and nine women’s teams, including Cheltenham Cougars, have already signed up and for more information about the process, click the button below.
