The player draft application period for the South of England Men’s Lacrosse Association (SEMLA) 2026/27 Winter Box League is now open with players able to sign up until 9pm on Friday 20 November.
Taking place over four Sundays from 20 December to 24 January, the Winter Box league accepts applications from men’s players aged 16 and above and women’s players aged 15 and above on 1 December 2026.
Following the conclusion of the application period, 2026/27 Winter Box League coaches will make their draft picks in late November and squads announced on Instagram shortly after.
This season’s Winter Box League will see four men’s teams, including Hornets, Steelheads, Capitals, and reigning champions Knights, battle it out to lift the trophy.
A women’s competition will feature once again with last year’s winners Ravens taking on Jaguars in a four-game series.
Players are required to be England Lacrosse members and must purchase a four-match season pass (£100) or a single game pass (£30) to take part.
As has been the case in previous years, every match across each match day will be filmed and live streamed on YouTube courtesy of Lacrosse Live UK.
