Seven Student Ambassadors volunteer at BUCS Sixes

Seven England Lacrosse Student Ambassadors attended the 2026 BUCS Lacrosse Sixes Championships over the weekend where they volunteered across a range of roles and contributed to the successful running of the event.

Jack, Jane, Finn, Emma, Dominic, Hope, and Leila from Liverpool, Derby, De Montfort, Exeter, and Southampton Universities travelled to Manchester Metropolitan University’s Platt Lane Sports Complex on Sunday 25 October for the biggest BUCS Sixes ever.

They helped with shot-clock timing, scoring, social media, and more throughout the day that saw a record 53 teams take part.

All seven are a part of the 2026/27 England Lacrosse Student Ambassador Programme that aims to increase lacrosse participation, develop student leaders, strengthen university-club pathways, create future coaches, officials, and volunteers, and improve graduate retention in lacrosse.
